We speak the language you want to learn all the time in class. Teaching strategies, gestures, and images are used to achieve understanding.

Grammar with meaning

We teach grammar in context. That is, to help us accomplish a real-life objective (e.g. introducing ourselves, ordering a meal, writing an email, etc.).

Focus on oral expression

Although we work on all areas of language, we prioritize oral communication because it is usually the most difficult to master.

Language and culture

Classes include topics that allow us to explore the culture. We give you tools to handle yourself with expertise in any social situation.

Language classes

English, Portuguese, and Spanish classes in virtual, in-person and hybrid modalities. Exclusive materials included in the cost.

Individual classes

Minimum workload: 1 hour per week.
Contents adapted to your needs, interests and learning pace.
Possibility of rescheduling and cancelling classes up to 2 hours before the start time.

Closed groups

Groups of 2 to 5 people who know each other.
Minimum workload: 1.5 hours per week.
Contents adapted to your needs, interests and learning pace.
The fee is divided among the participants.
Possibility of rescheduling and cancelling classes up to 2 hours before the start time.

Open groups

Groups of 5 people with other Lone Star students.
Regular: 1.5 hours per week. Intensive: 3 hours per week
Interactive classes focused on developing oral skills.
Each level takes between 3 and 5 months depending on the workload.
